Construction Steps

Step	Action
1	Draw a transversal through P intersecting ℓ at Q
2	Mark the angle formed at Q
3	Begin copying the angle at point P
4	Complete the copied angle (corresponding angle)
5	Draw line m through P - parallel to ℓ

Why It Works

When corresponding angles are congruent (∠1 ≅ ∠2), the lines are parallel. This is the Corresponding Angles Postulate in reverse!
