Intelligent Textbook Quality Metrics

When we are presented with an interactive intelligent textbook hosted on GitHub we can create tools that can be used to measure the overall scope of a textbook and the amount of content available. We can then attempt to run metrics to evaluate the quality of the interactiveness of the content, although these metrics are only estimates and should be checked using manual methods.

This chapter begins with simple metrics and concludes with the use of tools such as Google Analytics to access the actual patterns of usage of an interactive textbook.
