Click each red flag that applies to the announcement or claim you are evaluating. The Hype Score gauge on the right updates to show the overall assessment. A score of 0-3 (green) suggests the claim is credible, 4-6 (yellow) indicates a suspicious claim warranting deeper scrutiny, and 7-10 (red) signals the claim is likely hype driven more by marketing than by evidence.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Find a quantum computing press release, investor pitch, or news article.
  2. Read through the claim carefully.
  3. Click each checklist item that matches a red flag you observe.
  4. Review the Hype Score to gauge the overall credibility of the claim.
