Plant Cell Drawing

View the Animal Cell MicroSim Fullscreen

The six major plant cell components shown in the generated illustration are:

Cell Wall

The thick outermost green boundary that gives the plant cell its rigid shape and structural support.

Cell Membrane

The thin inner boundary just inside the cell wall that regulates what enters and leaves the cell.

Nucleus

The large purple spherical organelle containing the genetic material (DNA), with a darker nucleolus inside.

Central Vacuole

The large light-blue sac occupying much of the cell’s interior, responsible for water storage, turgor pressure, and storage of dissolved substances.

Chloroplast

The green oval organelle with internal stacked membrane structures (thylakoids), responsible for photosynthesis.

Mitochondrion

The smaller teal bean-shaped organelle with folded inner membranes (cristae), responsible for cellular respiration and ATP production.
