Kindergarten Chapters¶
This section contains the read-aloud chapters for the Kindergarten Health Education band. Each chapter groups related concepts from the learning graph into a short, teacher-led lesson. Chapters are ordered so that every idea builds only on ideas already covered — start at Chapter 1 and move forward in order, or jump to any chapter your class is ready for since prerequisite links are noted on each chapter page. Content is designed to be read aloud, image-led, and free of multi-step reasoning, matching the pre-reader Kindergarten audience.
- Health And Food — This opening chapter introduces the big idea of health and the foods that help bodies grow strong, including the five food groups, cultural food traditions, hydration, hunger, and food safety.

- Feelings And Kindness — Students learn to name their own feelings, recognize strong or uncomfortable feelings, ask a trusted adult for help, and practice kindness and inclusion.
