MicroSim of Solar Powered Nightlight
This interactive simulation lets you explore the solar nightlight circuit without building it first. Move the sun across the sky and watch the battery charge during the day and the lamp glow at night.

Try dragging the sun down below the horizon. See how the lamp wakes up when it gets dark? That's the transistor doing its job!

What to Look For
- Daytime: The solar panel feeds current through the diode and the battery charge level rises. The lamp stays off.
- Nighttime: The panel voltage drops, the transistor switches on, and the lamp lights up using stored battery power.
