Turtle-Graphics Drawing
Summary
This chapter is the heart of the course, combining pen blocks and motion blocks with loops to draw lines, angles, polygons, triangles, squares, stars, and spirals. Students learn the geometry of interior and exterior angles for regular polygons, how to control pen color and size, and how to use the stamp and clear blocks to build generative art patterns. It builds directly on the editor skills from Chapter 2, the motion and coordinate concepts from Chapter 4, and the loop concepts from Chapter 5. After completing this chapter, students will be able to program a sprite to draw a variety of shapes and patterns using pen and motion blocks inside loops.
