AI Use Policy

An AI use policy is the institution's formal statement of what AI tools are permitted for what purposes, by whom, and under what conditions. AI use policies in education must address at least four distinct user groups — students, teachers, administrators, and external parties — because appropriate AI use differs significantly across these groups.

Before defining policy provisions, it is important to understand the policy framework in which an AI use policy sits. Change Management
