ARCS Four Pillars Design Audit

Run the ARCS Four Pillars Fullscreen Edit Using the p5.js Editor

About This MicroSim

Four vertical pillars represent the ARCS model of motivation: Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. Together they support a beam labeled "Motivated Learning."

In Explore mode, hover any pillar to see its description, audit questions, and a concrete design move that strengthens it.

In Audit mode, click on each pillar at the appropriate height to rate it 1-5. The beam visibly tilts if any pillar is under-rated, illustrating that the weakest pillar limits the whole motivational structure.

Learning Objective (Evaluate): Given a chapter excerpt, audit it against all four ARCS pillars and identify the weakest.
