About This MicroSim

This MicroSim helps learners distinguish customer research from market research and qualitative evidence from quantitative evidence. Ten realistic marketing questions reveal why a method fits and when a mixed-method extension would be stronger.

How to Use

Read the question, select the method that would produce the strongest first evidence, and choose Check classification. Use Show another defensible answer to examine ambiguity, then continue to the next question.

10-15 minutes

  1. Predict (3 min): Classify the first three questions before requesting feedback.
