Description

Check eight skill-file headers against the five rules of the OpenClaw skill format. For each header, say that it is valid or name the one rule that it breaks. Used in Chapter 15.

Explore mode lists the five rules and shows a valid example, the starter skill of the chapter. The quiz shows each header with the name of its folder and the number of characters in its description, so that every rule can be tested by reading. You choose one of six outcomes in the menu, press Check, and read the reason.

Lesson Plan

Grade level: Middle school and up (age 12+). Time: 5 to 10 minutes.

  1. Read the five rules. In Explore mode, compare each rule with the valid example.
  2. Check. Press Start. For each header, test the rules one at a time: both fields, the letters of the name, the folder's name, the length of the description, and any colon. Choose an outcome and press Check. You get one try for each header.
  3. Read the reason. The feedback names the correct outcome and gives the reason. Mastery is 7 of 8.
  4. Think about it. A skill is only instructions. Where must a rule such as a speed limit live so that it is really enforced?

No header in the quiz breaks more than one rule. A header with an extra line is still valid when the line is one of the optional fields of the format.

Specification
