- Check the Scene — Pause long enough to notice hazards before approaching.
- Recognize — Look for unresponsiveness, breathing trouble, severe bleeding, choking, or other urgent signs.
- Call for Help — Activate a trusted adult and emergency services quickly.
- Choking Response — Severe choking requires immediate trained action and emergency activation.
- Emergency Medication — Emergency medication should follow the person’s plan and trained adult guidance.
