- Happy — Happy can feel light, warm, energetic, or smiley. Naming it helps us share joy.
- Sad — Sad may come with tears, low energy, or wanting comfort. A trusted adult can listen and help.
- Angry or Frustrated — Anger and frustration are strong feelings. Safe choices include pausing, breathing, and using words.
- Worried — Worry can make a tummy feel jumpy or thoughts race. Naming the worry can make help easier to find.
- Excited — Excitement can bring fast energy, big smiles, and lots of movement.
- Scared — Fear can warn us to seek safety. Moving near and telling a trusted adult is a strong choice.
- Calm — Calm may feel steady, relaxed, and ready to think. Slow breathing can help the body settle.
- Lonely or Left Out — Feeling left out can hurt. A trusted adult can listen and help make room for belonging.
