  1. Plan with a Trusted Adult — Share where you will be, who is present, and how to get help.
  2. Charge the Phone — A charged phone supports contact, navigation, and emergency calls.
  3. Use a Buddy Check-In — Friends can agree to check in and leave together.
  4. Know the Exits — Notice safe exits, adult hosts, and calmer spaces.
  5. Keep Personal Items in Sight — Keep beverages, medication, and belongings under your control.
  6. Refuse Pressure — Use a clear refusal, repeat it, change location, or involve support.
  7. Choose a Sober Ride — Never ride with an impaired driver.
  8. Help a Sick Friend — Stay nearby when safe and involve an adult.
  9. Call Emergency Help — Unresponsiveness, breathing trouble, seizure, serious injury, or immediate danger require emergency services.
  10. Check In Afterward — Confirm a safe return and talk about any concerning event.
