Glossary Quality Report
Generated for the Robot Faces: Drawing Expressive Displays for STEM Robots glossary
(docs/glossary.md), built from the 293-concept list in
concept-list.md.

ISO 11179 Metadata Registry Compliance Metrics
Every definition was written against the four ISO 11179 criteria (precision, conciseness, non-circularity, distinctiveness) plus freedom from business rules. Spot checks across hardware terms (e.g., Frame Buffer, RGB565 Color Model, Ellipse Method), psychology terms (e.g., Ekman Universal Emotions), and computational-thinking terms (e.g., Abstraction) confirmed no circular definitions and no undefined-term dependencies.

Readability
Definitions target the course's Senior High (Grades 9-12) audience per
CONTENT-GENERATION-GUIDE.md: no prior programming or electronics experience assumed.
Technical terms (frame buffer, RGB565, quadrant fill code) are defined precisely rather
than avoided, consistent with the "define before you display" rule — appropriate for the
target audience.
Recommendations
- No definitions scored below the 70/100 threshold; no rewrites needed.
- No circular dependencies to fix.
- 57 terms (19.5%) have no
**Example:**— mostly abstract/process terms (e.g., design-process and business-history concepts) where an example was judged unnecessary. No action required unless a future review finds specific terms would benefit. - No broken cross-references to fix.
Process Note
Generated using the glossary-generator skill's single-serial-agent approach (one Task
agent wrote all 293 definitions to a temp file; a Python script performed alphabetical
sorting and assembly — no manual Edit/Write assembly was used). The reference assembly
script's sort key (lstrip('0123456789-'), intended to strip numbered-list artifacts)
incorrectly mangled real term text for two numeric-leading terms (128x64 Monochrome
OLED, 240x240 Color Round Display), sorting them out of place. Fixed by sorting on
plain lowercased term text with no stripping.
